Semper Fidelis provides Solar Energy options and installations to our commercial customers. Traditional solar energy companies want to sell just the product that they represent and are limited to what product they can install. We have the resources to select from ALL the options available, providing the BEST FIT for our customers.

A "holostic" to energy savings and rewards considers the customers budget; reduction of energy usage to minimize the necessary size solar or alternative energy system is the goal. The typical approach from contractors is to upsell as much product and services as necessary. The customers end need should drive the end design, not the contractors products, services nor sales techniques.

Mark Becker, President

Semper Fidelis Construction Inc. is a California Corporation.
Mark is the General Contractor License holder, and business owner. Mark’s has an excellent grasp of the intricacies of solar; tax credits, utility rates, installation techniques and design. “The solar business is our focus, and the solar business is our specialty. This professionalism shows with each and every job completion, the satisfied solar customer is our proof. We have installed jobs with as few as 9 solar panels, and consulted on jobs with more than 2000. We have worked with large businesses, and Home Owner Associations."
Mark has over 30 years of construction experience.  Mark is trained in real estate inspection as well. Through high school and college, he worked in the construction trades in the masonry, carpentry and roofing trades. After college graduation Mark served on active duty for 8 years in the United States Marine Corps. Mark's occupational specialty was as an attack pilot flying AH-1W aircraft, and had collateral duties in the logistics field. Mark's overseas duties included the Far East and the Middle East including deployment to Gulf War I where he was awarded the Air Medal. In 2005 Mark retired from the Marine Corps Reserves at the rank of LtCol. Mark has been the business owner of Semper Fi Construction (a sole proprietership) and Semper Fidelis Construction, Inc for over 10 years. 

Robert Libby Jr. VP of Operations

Robert Libby Jr. is the VP of Operations and his experience includes education in architectural design, general contracting and project management.        
Robert also has possesses a general contractors license and currently manages bidding, estimation, and the integration of solar on the site in conjunction with Mark’s solar sizing and performance calculations. Robert has also been bidding and building in the residential sector for over 23 years.  Robert is an experienced drafter and architect. His drawing skills ensure aesthetically pleasing solar project completion.
Robert has designed and built over 170 custom homes in his career.

Rob Davey, Chief Electrical Consultant

Rob Davey is an electrical contractor in California working for Semper Fidelis Construction/Solar Power Solutions as their chief electrician (C10 License #940091). Rob’s knowledge and expertise in electrical code and solar power installations is among the best in the electrical / solar power industry. Rob got his technical solar training at SEI (Solar Energy International) one of the finest solar power and renewable energy training institutions in the world. With specialized knowledge of solar power systems and the electrical code, your installation will be completed professionally, safely, quickly and efficiently with painstaking attention to detail and the aesthetics of your home or business.

Frank Munroe- Roofing Consultant

Frank Munroe is the President and CEO of California Roofing. Frank has over 30 years of roofing design and installation experience. His wife Janis helps him manage the business. Many of Frank's employees have been with California roofing for over a decade; it's a great place to work! Frank's pleasurable and professional personality and business practices have made his business very sucessful and his consults very valuable.

Tim Zabel, Energy Audit Specialist
Tim has been in the construction industry since 1980. His job was field inspector for a civil engineer firm before moving on to residential remodels. Tim then developed a passion for energy efficiency and the repurposing of building materials. Tim gained valuable energy efficiency training while he worked for a window and door manufacturer. He continued his education on energy efficiency. Tim continued his education on energy efficiency and renewables. Currently Tim has more than 300 hours of PG&E and manufacturer training.  Tim sits on the Board of trustees for his church and still regularly takes classes to stay abreast of the most current technology.

Bruce Jewett, Solar Power Solutions, Tax Advisor

Bruce is Semper Fidelis Construction’s finance professional and rebate and tax specialist. Bruce is the proud owner of a 9.3kw Solar Power system. Bruce pays a total of $5.39 to PGE each month. He graduated from Kent State University with a 4 year degree in Accounting and owns Jewett, Inc, a tax preparation firm. He has been preparing both personal and corporate income taxes for over 20 years as well as providing timely tax advice to our clients.
